Alison Pill

Pill began her career with her first film in Canada But it wasn't until only a few years later she appeared for the first time in the American film market. An example of this was an episode of the Canadian series Traders in which she starred Bruce Gray. Pill obtained a spot on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation which starred Wallace Langham, Liz Vassey as well as Michael Ensign, in the episode "Would, Could, Shoulda" that was written and co-starred by Naren Shakar. After her role in Picard, Pill appeared in a major supporting role in the highly acclaimed science fiction miniseries Devs (served by the digital the VFX company Double Negative) produced by FX Productions for Hulu, similar to her character in Picard the actress appeared in every episode of that series while acting in a nearly identical role in the role of scientist "Katie". The similarities between the two series did not stop in the first episode. The show's creators revealed that the show's central plot concerns the maintenance of a conscious in an artificial creator, much like what Data did in Picard's season 1 finale "Et In Arcadia Ego Part 2."
